Porsche aims to use raw materials responsibly and in a way that preserves resources, while ensuring a long service life for its vehicles and the materials used in them. The strategic field “Circular Economy” focuses on implementing and continuously improving circularity‑oriented concepts along the vehicle value chain.

Jonathan Hörz, Sustainability Lead "Circular Economy", 2026, Porsche AG

Where technically and economically feasible, the sports car manufacturer strives to use more environmentally sustainable materials — for example by reducing the share of primary raw materials and establishing closed material loops. This includes projects such as circularity concepts for high‑voltage batteries, the use of circular materials, waste reduction initiatives, and the remanufacturing of vehicle components.
